Stories From Across Pakistan | Mujaida Bibi

Giving birth is one of the most difficult experiences for any woman. Naturally I too was scared and wanted to be around my family for the birth of my son. I delivered my daughter three years ago in Karachi, away from my entire family. I was so alone. So this time, for my son’s birth I traveled to Bhong (Southern Punjab) to be close to my parents, I was worried about how I would be able to safely deliver my baby in Bhong, since it hardly had any medical facilities. However, when I got there, I found out about Indus Hospital and registered with them in Bhong. The warmth and care I received from the staff in the Bhong facility made me feel like I was being taken care of by my own family. The nurses were so attentive, I felt like they were my real sisters. The staff at the hospital and my family made me feel so much at home, I was surrounded by nothing but love, care and safe treatment. I was delighted to be in Bhong for my delivery.
On top of the amazing service, it was a relief to know that this hospital was absolutely free of charge. My husband is a barber in Karachi but we were stuck in Bhong with no employment due to lockdown, he was extremely worried about the hospital charges for my delivery, but thankfully we did not have to spend even a single penny at the Indus Hospital. I cannot be more grateful for all the care, attention and love that my baby and I received by Indus Hospital Al-Ghazi Campus, Bhong, South Punjab, Pakistan.
