On a beautiful day that brought together the spirit of philanthropy and the love for sport, the Indus Development Foundation (IDF) hosted a charity golf tournament in Canada. Nearly a hundred dedicated participants, comprising avid golfers and passionate volunteers, graced the greens to support a noble cause.
The tournament culminated in an awards ceremony, where Executive Director Pervaiz Ahmed presented an overview of IDF’s crucial work. He then welcomed Faraz Aziz, who shared inspiring thoughts on the collaboration between IDF and Humaniti. The spotlight then shifted to the prize distribution. IDF Chairman Sohail Feroz, celebrated golfer and sponsor Kaleemuddin Siddiqui, board member and sponsor Ali Memon, and sponsor Faraz Aziz were all invited to honor the winners.
The event wrapped up with a hearty lunch and closing remarks by Sohail Feroz, echoing the day’s camaraderie, commitment to the cause, and the collective passion to make a difference.”
The event played a pivotal role in advocating for the cause of free healthcare. Not only did it bring together individuals who share a passion for golf, but it also harnessed the enthusiasm to make a tangible difference in society. By participating in this event, our golfers and sponsors ensured everyone had access to essential medical services without financial barriers in Pakistan. Such events not only promote a sense of community and philanthropy but also serve as a powerful platform to address the pressing issue of healthcare inequality, ultimately working towards a healthier and more equitable society for all.
